Reaching a Vortex URL from an iPhone
On iPhone the rules are different, and it helps to know why.
No Tor Browser for iOS
Apple requires every browser to use its own engine, so the Tor Project does not ship Tor Browser for iPhone.
The recommended option
The Tor Project points iPhone users to Onion Browser, which routes traffic through Tor using Apple's engine.
Known limits
Some protections available in Tor Browser on desktop and Android are not possible on iOS. Treat the iPhone as the weaker option.
Practical advice
If you can, open the vortex url on a computer or Android device instead. If you must use an iPhone, keep the app updated and check the address carefully.
An iPhone can reach a Vortex URL through Onion Browser, but it offers fewer protections than desktop or Android.
