Copying a Vortex link on a phone without mistakes
On a phone, the copy step is where most mistakes happen.
Never retype
A vortex link is too long to type accurately on a touch keyboard. Always copy it as text.
Select the whole string
Long-press, then drag the selection handles until the full address, including .onion, is highlighted.
Check after pasting
After pasting into the address bar, scroll through it and compare the first and last eight characters with the source.
Clear the clipboard
Copy something harmless afterwards so the address does not stay in the clipboard where other apps can read it.
Copy the Vortex link as text, check both ends after pasting and clear the clipboard afterwards.
